In her second volume of memoirs, Mary (Foote) Sheehan takes us back to her childhood in rural Colchester County and shares memories of her father, a railroad man and devout Presbyterian whose faith, work ethic, and devotion to those ion need shaped her own life of Faith, Hope and Love. Following the successful release of When Freddie Gardner Played: Life and Times in Aberdeen Hospital School of Nursing 1951-1954, Faith, Hope and Love is an album of memories that were a lifetime in the making: early childhood and teenage antics, her painful decision to forego medical school for nursing and the revelation that came after, life with siblings, then her courtship and marriage to her high school sweetheart and the generations that sprang from the life they built together.

Mary (Foote) Sheehan is an author, registered nurse and brain tumour survivor. She and her husband Doug live in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.
